CLECA is pleased to announce that one of its representatives has been selected to serve on the Nominating Committee for the Regional Organization for Western Energy (ROWE) — the body charged with identifying and vetting candidates for ROWE's inaugural Board of Directors. Sam Harper, CLECA consultant and Principal of Harper Advisory LLC, will fill the seat on behalf of the Large Commercial & Industrial customer sector.
The appointment puts the Large Commercial & Industrial customer perspective directly into ROWE's foundational governance work. CLECA advocated throughout the West-Wide Governance Pathways process for designated Large C&I representation in ROWE's structures, and the Nominating Committee seat is that advocacy made concrete: the consumers who pay for western markets helping choose the board that will govern them.
